The Sand Hills vision is to create four large, private, premium rural lifestyle allotments, close to the Mangawhai Village, with all its amenities, but far enough away.
The intention is to restore native flora and rehabilitate the land after years of farming, and to extend the revegetation work done within both Te Arai Links and Tara Iti.

Tara Iti, a private club and Te Arai Links North and South courses, which are open for members and green fee players alike.
The property is located on Black Swamp Road, approximately 5 minutes drive from Mangawhai Village and is part of an old farm. The property is positioned at the start of Rako Drive. Design + Build
Both the master planning and landscape architecture for Sand Hills Farm have been designed by RBT Design Limited, responsible for the development planning and landscape architecture at Te Arai Links. They will also be part of the design+build team. Dawson Construction, which has been responsible for building most of Te Arai Links, including the Ocean Cottages, Ric’s Restaurant, South Clubhouse and Ocean Restaurant, along with several private residences, have also partnered with Sand Hills Farm.
